Sanpoutei Ramen Reviews
Very authentic from Japan. This restaurant is recommended by my Japanese friend. Soup is so rich. Here is also has chick soup broth which I think it’s not easy to find in other restaurants. If you order tsukemen, they will bring you hot water after you almost finish your meal. Because the soup is richer than others.
I gotta say their tsukemen (dipped) ramen is on par with what I've experienced in Japan. Absolutely delicious, broth is smoky, fish, porky, smooth, and refreshing. They make their own noodle in-house which you can see from the entrance. Speaking of noodles, they are smooth, silky, and has a good bounce. Excellent service and atmosphere, definitely repeat!
Update! We came back a bunch of times and we absolutely love this place. Order the tsukemen! I wanted to update just to say don’t listen to the folks giving this place bad reviews, this place is a gem!! My original review: Their tsukemen is absolutely incredible, exactly like the ones we had in Japan. Service was very good and the sake was great too. We will definitely be coming back even though it’s a long drive for us.
My favourite ramen in greater Vancouver! The broth is absolutely delicious and the texture of the ramen is super good. Great atmosphere too! They only accept debit or cash so make sure u bring one or the other.
We got the Tsukemen, Shoyu ramen, Tori Ramen, and mini butariki Don. It’s the best ramen we’ve had in the city. The Shoyu has a slight yuzu flavour which is very nice and clean. The Tori has a strong chicken flavour, smooth and delicious. The tsukemen is soooo flavourful and comes with a dashi soup to add to the sauce at the end. The butariki Don is delicious too but come for the noodles, if you have space try the rice too. Looks like they make their own noodles. Definitely tastes like they make their own noodles. Noodles are soooooo good. The shop is quite spacious and inviting. Very beautiful design. Feels like Japan. Probably seats about 40. Parking is limited. Look for the spots with the label. Notably we tried to come here thrice previously and they were closed temporarily. After finally trying the food it’s worth trying to come once you get in.
A very delicious ramen shop. The location is very secret. It is difficult to find this shop. However, the food is delicious and the service staff has a good attitude. The only thing is that they close on time at 9 o'clock, so those who arrive late will eat less. Be more hurried.
Decided the last minute to try this place since me and my friend were so craving for ramen and she recommended trying this place. The place was a little bit busy by the time we got there so we waited for 5-7 mins for being seated. Very nice and warm atmosphere here. Servers were very cute and friendly. I got a Spicy Tori Miso Special and my friend got a Tori Miso Original, we also had a side dish of bamboo with spicy miso sauce. Soup was very authentic, the best part was the chashu, it was surprisingly tasty, like the best chashu I have ever had! Highly recommend this place!
Very tasty ramen rich taste, large portion, fast service and beautiful interior. We had two different ramen, both were very tasty. There are many people in the evening and at lunchtime, you should come early. I recommend! We also ordered ice cream, it was ordinary, but also quite sweet.
